Learning outside provides a powerful route to the 'Every Child Matters' outcomes
including ' enjoy and achieve', 'staying safe' and 'being healthy'.
We provide an extensive range of award winning outdoor educational activities for both children and adults.
For examples:
Team building for all ages;
Pond dipping and 'mini beasting';
River, moorland and woodland studies;
Orienteering, assault and adventure courses;
Creative art, music, theatre, conferences,

Inclusion
Specific programmes are tailored to suit group leader and visitor requirements and expertly differentiated across the full age and ability range.
Visitors with limited mobility have easy access to the buildings. The ‘Nellmobile’ enables children with disabilities to enjoy woodland orienteering and habitat trails. 3 raised ponds allow access to those in wheelchairs.
School programmes are designed to raise achievement in a range of curriculum subjects, including Science, Geography and PE. Schools have brought OFSTED to Nell Bank with excellent outcomes.
