Since 1977 Nell Bank has supported a wide range of community groups including youngsters with a  range of additional needs.

The buildings and large equipment have all been built through community fundraising.
3 Bradford Lord Mayors have supported the Centre with their Charity appeals
- an example of the value placed on the Centre by the community.
All donations are used to directly fund development for the benefit of the visitors.
Charity donations are not used for staffing costs.



Nell Bank is Nationally significant in its approach to inclusion for day visitors.
Regardless of physical disabilities, sensory impairments, learning difficulties or other additional needs  Nell Bank adapts and differentiates equipment and learning experiences so that all can enjoy amazing outdoor experiences together.
We now wish to develop a purpose built residential facility so that the Centre can accomodate disabled visitors alongside everyone else.
